Learning objectives:

• Get familiar with reach stacker cranes;
• Get familiar with the work environment and incidences when working with a reach stacker crane;
• Get familiar with operations related to reach stacker cranes, the use of control devices, signalling using the universal system, handling and moving loads, and any other manoeuvre necessary to the
• operation of the reach stacker crane;
• Get familiar with the inspection to verify the working order and proper functioning of the reach stacker crane;
• Get familiar with the rules governing the operation of the reach stacker crane, and the establishment’s directives regarding the work environment.

Note: An engineering report on the working procedures & techniques as well as methods and techniques intended for the identification, control and elimination of risks to the safety or health of the workers is included, if confirmed beforehand – 3 hours allocated.
